Espresso

We roast our espresso beans dark and slowly in a long drum roast, so the chocolate and nut notes carry and the crema holds. Fully electric roasting, plastic-free packaging.

The classics: No. 079 (India & Ethiopia) and No. 081 (India & Brazil): full-bodied, consistent and strong with milk too. If you like it more radical, try the Uppercut: our espresso base with a fruity co-ferment punch of strawberry, coconut or vanilla.

All coffees come as whole beans, roasted fresh after you order: for espresso machines, moka pots and anyone who takes espresso seriously without taking themselves too seriously.

A tip to start: give freshly roasted beans a few days of rest after they arrive before you dial in the grind size. The espresso gets rounder and the extraction more stable. If your shot runs too fast or too bitter, each coffee page has our recommendation for dose and ratio.
